Baby Orajel Natural

SAM_0363

When it comes to my children safety is number one with anything toys, blankets clothing and medication especially if they are babies, Well my little one Alexia has been teething for the past 2 months and she just turned 5 months old on the 6th of November. I bought the regular baby orajel that has all the igrediants that numb there mouths and taste funny, I even tried it once or twice to see why she would cry so much , and it turned out it completely numbed her mouth, when she tried to drink her bottle the formula would just leak out of her mouth. But as a member of smiley 360 they had a mission to qualify for a new teething product, so I was like what the heck let me give it a shot, at this point I am willing to do anything to make it easier on her. We even tried the Tylenol and it made it worse of uncontrollable crying , she didn’t want a bottle or he oatmeal not even her stage 1 food. I have both frozen teethers and non frozen teethers and she just cry more, She would rather chew on her clothes or her hands. Well I got the email telling me I have been selected to try this new orajel product.

Its called Baby Orajel Nauturals for teething pain relief.

I read the box and looked up online to be sure its will be safe for my baby.

Boy was I shocked that it did not have the benzocaine that makes the mouth fully numb and her discomfort. It also did not Bellodonna.This was a major one I was please about, I didn’t even know what ingredient this was so I looked it up and it can cause rapid heart rate Also I got the following from a website that is why they are in quotations ”

  • n allergic reaction (swelling of your lips, tongue, or face, difficulty breathing, closing of your throat, or hives);
  • an irregular or fast heart rate;
  • a rash or flushing; or
  • eye pain.

Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take belladonna and talk to your doctor if you experience

  • headache, dizziness, or lightheadedness;
  • weakness or nervousness;
  • blurred vision, large pupils, or sensitivity of the eyes to bright light;
  • nausea, bloating, heartburn, or constipation;
  • changes in taste;
  • difficulty urinating;
  • decreased sweating; or
  • nasal congestion, stuffiness, or a dry mouth.”.

Just by this I feel its unsafe for my 5  month old little girl.

Another ingredient I had to look up was This was shocking to me as well “Parabens is a term used within the vernacular of the specialty chemicals industry to describe a series of parahydroxybenzoates or esters of parahydroxybenzoic acid (also known as 4-hydroxybenzoic acid). Parabens are widely used as preservatives by cosmetic and pharmaceuticalindustries. Parabens are effective preservatives in many types of formulas. These compounds, and their salts, are used primarily for their bactericidaland fungicidal properties. They can be found in shampoos, commercial moisturizers, shaving gels, personal lubricants, topical/parenteralpharmaceuticals, spray tanning solution, makeup,[1] and toothpaste. They are also used as food additives

At least one ingredient that was not much as a risk was it being a dye free gel.

I never knew baby teething gels had these ingredients , it blows my mind what these can do to our children, especially babies, no wonder she cried all the time when I applied the other kind on her. Since using this All Natural orajel I see a great improvement with her. She dont cry she opens her mouth and lets me rub it on her gum. I think I will be turning into a organic natural type mom for my kids for now on, who knows what they are intaking and it says its safe but the ingredientssay a different story.

Thank You Smiley 360 for the is opportunity to give my little one rest assurance and not intaking more unhealthy medicine to help her in her teething stage.

This is my opinion and I received it for free from Smiley 360
